Is GST worked out automatically?

Yes. Your GSTIN, your state code and the HSN code of each item decide the right rate, including the IGST versus CGST-plus-SGST split.

How do I put an advance on a quote?

Say “advance 5000” in your voice note or message. The PDF then shows the advance, the balance and the payment terms. Business plan.

How do I upload my logo?

Type /logo on WhatsApp and send the image. One-time setup; it appears on every PDF afterwards.

How do I move from Free to Business?

Tap “Choose Business” above and complete the payment. Confirmation arrives on WhatsApp.

Where is my data kept?

Voice notes and photos delete themselves after 30 days. Your documents and business profile stay for as long as your account is active. Full detail on the DPDPA page.

How do I delete my account?

Message “mera account delete karo” on WhatsApp. There is a two-step confirmation, then everything is removed within 24 hours.

What are the rules on revisions?

Every document includes two free revisions. From the third onwards, one document from your quota is used per revision.

Does it do inventory like Tally or Vyapar?

No. BillSathi makes documents — quotations, invoices, challans, purchase orders, receipts and job work bills. For inventory, accounting and payroll, keep whatever you already use.

When is the backup WhatsApp number used?

Only if our primary number is down on Meta’s side. The backup takes over automatically and nothing changes for you.
